It's crazy to me how everyone is piling on an indie dev for this, but Nintendo, a massive corporation, doesn't get half the criticism for not even bothering to put voice actors in their new Pokemon game, one of the most popular franchises on the planet.
Not to be the fun police but I do hope people know that Arc Raiders does use generative AI for voice acting, and by supporting the game you're letting higher-ups know that this is an okay practice.

They try to downplay this on the Steam store page by describing the AI usage as vaguely as possible.

Amazing video by @st1ka.bsky.social where he plays and rates every FPS ever made by Japanese developers, dispelling the myth that they don't make them. Can't even imagine how much work this must have been!

The Battlefield 6 campaign is unbelievably awful so far, but at least it has a cool little underground WW2 museum in the Gibraltar level.

One of the rare moments when I am proud of my country lately. 250.000 people marching against genocide.
Een kwart miljoen bezorgde en ongehoorde burgers. De kranten staan de komende twee weken vol met diepte-interviews over wat hen beweegt, toch?

A criminally underrated point & clicker with fantastic writing. An absolute steal, go get it! 👍
I (finally) have a full-time job again, so it doesn't matter that much anymore if anyone buys my game, but if you're in the mood for a brisk, low-frills interactive fiction title, you can get The Amateur Deity Society for $2 this week: store.steampowered.com/app/3241070/...

Absolutely insane! Flying over a cobbled climb on a TT bike under these conditions and with her backstory... I have chills.

Was supposed to do a 240km bike ride today around the Markermeer, my longest ride ever. Instead I had 3 punctures, my tire would not seat on the rim and was caught in a massive thunderstorm...what a day🙃

Shit like this is stopping me from buying a Switch 2 altogether. And it will never get a proper discount either👎

This quote from the Israeli government criticizing the Nuremberg trials sent shivers down my spine:

"A would-be war criminal of the future need not be discouraged by the Nuremberg Trials from indulging in similar genocidal excess"

🤮
My new video is now available on Nebula. It's about the Nuremberg Trials. It represents a pretty colossal amount of effort. I would love for you to watch it. nebula.tv/videos/jacob...
