This shocking claim was treated as fact by the channel which promoted the clip on social media where it was amplified by AI.

It's incredible to me that this still isn't the norm. I don't understand why anyone who thinks they're a journalist would ever put out a story about autism without talking to Autistic people first.
It was very important for me to get autistic people's reaction to this. That should be the norm when it comes to reaction pieces that touch on autism.
