I got an EU internal document that outlines the toothless nature of a Gaza aid "understanding" between the EU and Israel: non-binding, ambiguous, and difficult to monitor.

one of the ways you know this is a genocide is that the news is never "IDF wins a battle" or "IDF secures new territory"

it's just about dead Palestinians, all the time, every day
BREAKING: At least 56 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces since dawn, sources at Gaza hospitals have told Al Jazeera.

Today is Autism Acceptance Day. It's a day when a lot of non-autistic voices tend to drown our real needs and priorities. We need autistic voices to be prioritised and centred in policy, services and organisations. Please donate to autistic-led organisations today if you can.

I’m sure all the people who shared NYT’s ‘Screams Without Words’ and Sheryl Sandberg’s ‘Screams Before Silence’ will be sharing this new UN report on Israel’s systematic sexual and gender-based violence against Palestinian men and women, right?
Right?
Gaza war: UN experts accuse Israel of 'genocidal acts' and sexual violence
Israel strongly rejects the findings of the report and accuses the UN Human Rights council of antisemitism.

Working in EU Institutions is considered a great job for many. But staff with disabilites still suffer from discrimination and lack of conditions.

My summary of our findings:
EU Institutions are not only lagging on implementing the UN #DisabilityRights Convention, they are also failing their staff with disabilities.

UN experts will investigate this today and tomorrow when they review the EU's performance on disability rights: buff.ly/ohiIPS6

@WHO says people need at least 15 liters of water/day to survive. Palestinians in Gaza had 2 to 9 liters/day for over a year.
Israel’s policy of water deprivation has likely lead to thousands of deaths. It´s a crime against humanity & an act of genocide. @hrw.org report:

The @myedf.bsky.social dirst post on Bluesky is one made out of pure desperation. After the Commission barely improving the rights of passengers with disabilities, now the Council wants to erase the meagre improvements.

Stop leaving passengers with disabilities stranded!
We call on the EU Council to reverse course on the current negotiations on the #PassengerRights proposal.

Current position completely erases the rights of passengers with disabilities. Member States must change their "General Approach":

Because she is Roma.

She told her story until the Czech government was forced to listen.
