if you think that rescues charge too much to adopt a cat i just want to let you know... my "free" cat has costed me over $600 in vet bills in the 7 months that i've had her. when you adopt from a shelter, it usually costs $100-200 for a fully vetted and fixed cat! totally worth it!!!
