Gendered violence and misogyny are connected but distinct categories. Gendered violence includes policing of (police brutality against) Black & POC boys/men in the global north.
Remember, ‘gender’ as it has been imposed by eurocolonialism divides our worlds into ‘men’ & ‘women’.

It's disturbing that a Handbook of Indian History enacts full erasure of Muslim India & the Mughal empire that preceded the British empire.
And, casteism is NOT a legacy of eurocolonialism. Caste/ism predates it.
The progress of hindu nationalist revisionism is deeply concerning.
