Arrived in Lisbon, waiting in a huge passport control queue. This was what Brexshit was about, we’re world renowned for queuing so obviously not having to queue for things like this was unacceptable to a portion of our society. Probably the same portion who rarely travelled 😫

I’m fairly slim, under 6ft and I’m feeling a bit cramped on this @british-airways.bsky.social flight today Lisbon. Seats are very upright too! Definitely gone down in my experience in terms of customer experience. Almost feels like they’ve crammed some extra rows of seats on flights!

Just finished @rickardsisters.com adaptation of Ethel Carnie Holdsworth’s This Slavery, started it last night and couldn’t stop. Just like their other two adaptations of No Surrender and The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists. Highly, highly recommend! Wonderful way to discover these powerful works.

Just finished @rickardsisters.com adaptation of Ethel Carnie Holdsworth’s This Slavery, started it last night and couldn’t stop. Just like their other two adaptations of No Surrender and The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists. Highly, highly recommend! Wonderful way to discover these powerful works.
Maybe just maybe, I can have one week or month without additional stress :(. Not too much to ask for is it? 😞

I've been thinking a lot about that bumper sticker which says "everything looks like a conspiracy theory when you don't understand how anything works" and folks it's pretty obvious to me that the people in power right now have absolutely no desire to understand how anything works.

Few months out from my broadband contract expiring and been sent the renewal "offer" - more expensive for the same thing, not exactly an incentive for me to renew when competitors are cheaper and offer more.

Starting off 2025 with a bit of a reset. Have closed all three rings on 4 out of six days so far. Using that system more as a reminder to get moving more, eager to add more to it this month, plus in advance of starting to coach Under 8’s football too! Aim is to seriously reduce cortisol/stress

One of my biggest tech frustrations as a parent is controlling YouTube! Want to enable restricted mode as default but cannot find one way that works. Not even sure if premium would let me.

So I took a couple of days off last week so obviously my body thought lets whack him with a cold :/. Hopefully though this means it's out of the way until I finish for the year..

Another day of battling with the LA regarding EOTAS provision. Quibbling about cost when the public services don't provide the support needed and only option is to go privately sourced. All gets pushed back on the families. System is broken.
