Congress has had years to do something about data brokers and they've sided with the tech lobby over and over again.

Robert Clark was elected to the Mississippi state house in 1968 and became the first Black lawmaker in the state legislature post-Reconstruction. He died March 4 and was honored in the state capitol over the weekend.
