I’ve been on a desert making kick, lately. I plan on fasting for the next few days because I have no one to eat all these sweets, and have gained 4 pounds in a week, while also putting myself into a basic, sugar coma.

Feeling restless, I also followed a recipe from YouTube, and made a flourless chocolate cake. It tastes like a rich brownie, and I used 6 eggs.

I love lilies for a table flower, because of the big, dramatic blooms and they smell so strong. They can make your whole house smell like a funeral parlor, I love it. And you only need a few stems in a vase and you don’t have to fuss with them so much, and they look nice and last a long time.

I made some pecan turtle candies yesterday, while I drank wine, and they came out pretty good. The caramel is the hardest part, I think. Getting that perfect consistency. I went ahead and covered an apple, too. And I have a left over jar of caramel. So my coffee is all set.
