Five years ago, the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) received permanent funding through the Great American Outdoors Act. Now the Administration is trying to rollback this great conservation & recreation achievement. We must #SaveLWCF funding to protect our trails and public lands!

At this year’s Dandelion Dig Day at AMC’s Lakes of the Clouds, 24 volunteers removed 65 pounds of invasive dandelions from fragile alpine habitat! 🌼

Why it matters: dandelions outcompete rare native plants and disrupt alpine biodiversity—often spread by hikers’ boots.

85% of AmeriCorps’ federal staff have been placed on leave.
In just the last 3 years, AmeriCorps members have maintained more than 220 miles of trails for better outdoor experiences.
