a) dass die AfD unverhältnismäßige mediale Aufmerksamkeit erhält (=mehr als ihre elektorale Größe suggerieren könnte).
b) dass diese Aufmerksamkeit mit der strategischen Störung des politischen Prozesses durch die AfD an sich zusammenhängt.

Die Erhöhung der #Verteidigung|sausgaben von ca. 1,5 % auf 5 % des anvisierten #NATO Ziels erfordert 140 Milliarden € an zusätzlichen Staatsausgaben in Deutschland. Der einzige (!) Weg, zusätzliche Verteidigungsausgaben dauerhaft zu finanzieren, ist über höhere #Steuern.

Are you a concerned European who thinks that Europe should absorb US academics that genuinely want to flee America (even with a pay cut)?

Remember that the academic market conditions in Europe really do not allow for that without a *big* escalation of spending in Higher Education.

Zusätzlich zur politikwissenschaftlichen Perspektive frage ich mich als queere POC natürlich ob ich dazugehöre bei Klingbeils normalen Menschen. Haben meine Wünsche und Sorgen Platz in der SPD? Oder gehöre ich nicht zu den normalen Menschen? Was bin ich dann: unnormal, abnormal, ein Freak?
Es gibt kaum Sätze, die die Misere der Sozialdemokratie so verdeutlichen wie dieser von Klingbeil. Man gibt das transformative Projekt der Linken auf für einen inhaltsleeren Deliverism für die imaginierten „normalen Leute“. Wen soll so eine Partei begeistern?
