Given the genocidal horrors of the last 21 months, if Israel now decided to finish the job, round up several million Palestinians & push them into mass incinerators, who’s to say that even that would be enough to persuade the EU to break political & economic ties?

"It was an error" - that's ok then?!
My God.

ICE wrongfully arrested a man while his 5-year-old autistic child sat in the backseat—and shipped him off to an El Salvador prison. No due process. Now the Trump administration claims they can’t get him back.

How many more?

THIS NEEDS TO BE A BIGGER STORY.

NEW: Trump’s USAID cuts hamper US response to the earthquake in Myanmar. Employees in DC who were set to move to Asia earlier were told Friday they’ll be fired. Few are left to plan transport and payments. China and Russia send teams. Our @nytimes.com story: www.nytimes.com/2025/03/30/w...
Trump’s U.S.A.I.D. Cuts Hobble Earthquake Response in Myanmar
While China, Russia and other nations have rushed emergency response teams to the devastated country, the U.S., once a leader in foreign aid, has been slow to act.

Marvellous evening at Tiglin's Lighthouse homeless cafe when Miss Ireland visited, & the women all wanted to chat about clothes! Aubrey McCarthy, founder of Tiglin, & Cllr Gayle Ralph also dropped in for the occasion. Seeing what Tiglin's Allen Bobinac has achieved in the cafe is quite extraordinary

President of Mexico - inspirational woman!
Wow. Mexico's President Claudia Sheinbaum officially recognizes Palestine as a state. Here she welcomes Palestinian ambassador Nadya Rasheed.

Sheinbaum is Jewish, supports Palestinian self-determination, & unapologetically condemns Netanyahu's attacks on Gaza.

Historic & inspiring leadership. ❤️✊🏽

Well done, guys!
Short piece by Jamie McLoughlin and myself in @thejournal.ie drawing on our article 'Does the Irish Constitution Forbid a Vocal Presidency?' in Dublin University Law Journal last year. In short, a political vocal presidency is constitutional. www.thejournal.ie/readme/micha...
Opinion: Michael D Higgins has not overstepped the constitutional boundaries of the Presidency
Seán Rainford and Dr Jamie McLoughlin examine what the Constitution says about a president’s authority to speak out.
