Der Forschungsstand dazu „Wie Demokratien sterben“ ist eindeutig: Rechtsaußenparteien sind zwar wichtig, Demokratien gehen aber dann zugrunde, wenn sich Konservatismus radikalisiert. Ob die AfD an die Macht kommt, entscheidet nicht die AfD, sondern die Union. Und hier wachsen die Befürchtungen.
