The Belgian state decided to replace a block of rue Belliard 🔵 with a viaduct leading to a new tunnel 🔴 under Schuman. Demolition began 1970. The press was briefed that the 1870s-90s houses were empty (what COULD have made people leave?), squatted, a den of thieves. A body was found in a cellar!

We used to stay silent on mod decisions, thinking it was the right thing to do. Turns out silence loses trust. We’re being more open: we’ll share more about our mod systems & explain more decisions that confuse the community. The ideal is less surprise when there’s mod action on content.
