A bus of Bronx middle schoolers pulled up to the Capitol this morning for a long-planned field trip just a few hours after the government shut down.
All Capitol tours were cancelled as the guides can’t work in shutdown.
So I escorted them in myself and gave them a personal tour. They were great!

I genuinely hate how American movie Blu-ray releases are now riding this limited collectible status. Trying to budget to buy something later is not possible anymore, and everything that's left is sold by scalpers at almost twice the price. What's the point? Do they want me to go back to torrenting??
