AI can help learning... when it isn't a crutch.

There are now multiple controlled experiments showing that students who use AI to get answers to problems hurts learning (even though they think they are learning), but that students who use well-promoted LLMs as a tutor perform better on tests.

AI is incredible to make creating art acceptable.

Steve Gleason is a football legend and an ALS activist. He is using AI image generator with eye tracking to create images from his pre-diagnosis artwork.

ALS causes loss of muscle control, so AI is a way for Steve to make art.
