If nothing else happens on Gilded Age, I am content because I live to see Bertha Russel put high society women in their place. Her passing those skills to Gladys was something she should have done from the jump. When Gladys called out her sister in law, I was giggling and kicking my feet.

I've spent too many hours agonizing over how my story will be perceived as unrealistic because I've create a diverse regency backdrop. But research reminds us that black people existed in far greater numbers than the dukes gracing the covers of #historicalromance books.

Oof… this one really hurts to read as a budding historical romance author. I think there’s so much room to innovate, but big publishers lack the vision.
