My father was an amazing man who taught and showed my siblings and me about unconditional love. My husband is also an amazing man and dad who shows unconditional love to me and our children. I'm so glad that there is a day to honor awesome dads.

I recently read this amazing book by Elizabeth Ferrell Casey, an incredible woman that I know. I purchased the book because I know her and respect her. Read this book, I mean really read this book. The main character will help you understand your own God story. I'm going to comment more about it.

I just started rewatching The Handmaid's Tale. I know the new season will start soon, so I thought I would rewatch the previous seasons. I'm watching season one, episode 3. The scenes switch back and forth from flashbacks to June's current reality. Keep reading in my replies.

The most obvious thing about this is it is evil and sociopathic. But there’s another element: speaking as someone who has both prosecuted fraudsters and defended people very wrongfully accused of being fraudsters, it’s absolute bullshit.

Regarding all of the talk about Social Security -- I worked for over 42 years, paying Social Security taxes and Medicare taxes with every single paycheck. I contributed to my retirement years with every deduction from my paychecks. This money that I contributed was set aside for my retirement.

I started paying into my social security in 1991, at the age of 16. I wasn't given a choice, the taxes were taken and the promise was made that the money would come back to me when I retired. It was and always has been my money, no matter how many times a billionaire calls it a handout.
We need to stop the rhetoric that #socialsecurity is charity, because some people start believing something, just because they keep hearing it. Let's all post, as many times as possible, every day, #SOCIALSECURITY & #MEDICARE ARE PART OF AN EARNED RETIREMENT PLAN. WE PAID FOR IT. WE ARE OWED IT.
