Trump just said he wants to revoke Rosie O’Donnell’s citizenship because she criticizes him. This is beyond outrageous. Stripping citizenship to silence opponents is a direct attack on democracy.

Some rare good news. Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill,” officially called the American Growth and Taxpayer Relief Act of 2025, is hitting serious trouble in the Senate. Multiple Republicans are wavering and the bill faces real procedural roadblocks.

Trump's signature policy bill is facing trouble on multiple fronts in the Senate
While Senate leaders have made several significant changes to the bill in recent days, the issue of funding for rural hospitals has emerged as a major roadblock.

The racist attacks on Zohran Mamdani, the calls for his deportation and denaturalization, and the baseless 9/11 smears are disgusting and un-American. If you think someone should be silenced or exiled for running for office, you should be ashamed.

Trump has canceled all trade talks with Canada and threatened new tariffs over its digital services tax. Canada has been a steadfast partner on defense, intelligence, trade and border security—never a threat.

The Senate Parliamentarian, Elizabeth MacDonough, is doing her job by applying the Byrd Rule as it was meant to be applied. That rule protects the integrity of the budget reconciliation process by preventing unrelated policy changes from being pushed through with just 51 votes.

Huge congratulations to Zohran Mamdani on winning the NYC Democratic mayoral primary. A 33-year-old Democratic Socialist with a grassroots campaign on housing, healthcare, and dignity, he upended expectations and beat Cuomo. Progressive ideas aren’t fringe, they’re real.

If you’re hurting from the loss of programs you once relied on, you’re not alone. Many voted thinking the pain would only land elsewhere. But it didn’t. It never does. Empathy must guide us now, because cruelty, no matter the target, always circles back.

Iran launched missiles at our base in Qatar after U.S. strikes on its nuclear sites. All were intercepted. This is the cost of endless escalation. We should be urging Israel to stop its attacks and push for diplomacy before this spirals further.

Iran’s government has committed serious abuses—but that doesn’t make them wrong here. Trump’s strikes on their nuclear facilities appear to violate international law and the UN Charter. We don’t defend democracy by breaking it.

I do not support preemptive strikes on Iranian nuclear sites. Trump bragging about “obliterating” facilities isn’t strength—it’s reckless escalation. Diplomacy isn’t weakness. War posturing costs lives.
