He saw his shadow, so “6 more weeks of winter”— I actually see more of a swing in temps, followed by ABOVE-average conditions mid-late Feb through April!

Tonight’s CBS Evening News: An atmospheric river has set up across the west, ushering in over 10” of rain before the end of this week. Tracking that, snow, wind and the potential for mudslides.
In the east, the coldest air of the season makes its way in, with a few areas receiving their 1st snow!
