Exactly this. Katie Wilson has done more for the city of Seattle on policy than Bruce Harrell has 12 years on city council and 4 years as mayor. It was her JumpStart Tax proposal that saved Harrell’s budget this year.
I can't believe Seattle would elect someone with only 15 years experience organizing successful local legislation campaigns.

Pedro just used "complete Johnsons" to mean "complete games"? So a "Ding Dong Johnson" is a home run, but "Ding Dong" is the operative part. "Johnson" just takes the place of any noun. Like the Marclars on South Park.

My ex was so into Neil Young that I became into Neil Young. I'm grateful for that as my natural inclination was to not like him because my dad played him growing up. "Cowgirl In The Sand" is a favorite because it was our go-to jukebox selection at the Grassroots Tavern. Bang for your buck!

What I hadn't heard about/don't dig is the structure. Each iteration doesn't add enough to justify the repetition for me. Could be cut into a solid 40 min movie.

I need to stop hearing about Rotten Tomatoes scores. You can be a straight D student and "100% Fresh!" I think the best art tends to get lots of A's but also a few F's. The Tomato Meter rewards inoffensive mediocrity.

Post-holiday candy clearance sales just aren't the same without Bartell in the mix. I'll never step foot inside a CVS. Partially regional brand loyalty but also they have a whole branch of the company dedicated to manipulating insurance costs and fucking over independent competition. Like Bartell!

RIP, Jack in the Box on The Ave. Here is why Jack in the Box is dear to me: as a kid living with undiagnosed autism/ARFID, so many foods including most vegetables were sensory nightmares. Still are. But people wouldn't hesitate to tell me what a weird kid I was, a "picky eater." A moral failure.
