My sister in law lost her mom today to cancer. And my nephews lost their other grandma. My little niece won’t even remember her. My heart is so broken for them.

Trying to run a long run after three weeks off and being sick and flying and changing time zones didn’t work out quite as well as I wanted. But 6.5 miles is close enough to 8. I’m starving and my legs are frozen.

All I did for my Thanksgiving break was play the new DLC for Disney Dreamlight Valley. I was barely on socials or texting. My nephews were so into completing the new fairy tale challenges. It was so nice to be productive in a fake world with my favorite Disney characters.

My feet are so wet from that race. My nephew and I ended up doing the walk not the run. He would not have made it the 3.1 miles in the slushy snow. We had a lot of close calls but we never fell! 😂
