There're genuinely difficult questions about how this relates to traditional religion (being the political party of Reddit Atheists would be, for various reasons, bad) but some kinda "know it when I see it" ability to rule out this stuff is vital.

I still am not sure why Erik Olin Wright didn't see the relevance of dialectics in social science when his major contribution is his empirical study on a category he called "contradictory class location". Analytical Marxists are doing dialectics while dismissing it in words?
