I don't assume gender, and other reasons I make a lot of mistakes on DuoLingo.

The hardest part of eating local is storing the egg cartons you're returning to the farm.

I can either feed and clothe my children or maintain my Stardew Valley farm, I cannot do both.

I hate waking up mid-dream because it wastes all the food I was making.

On Friday, Nourish's @amyjoyford.bsky.social spent the day in community learning about #Haudenosaunee foods on the Grand River. Chef Aicha Smith-Belghaba, Head Chef at Esha's Eats, led a hands-on teaching including sweetgrass, berries, and the three sisters. 🍓

Are you sky-diving risky, or are you I-made-smreka-a-sparking-balkan-drink-made-of-fermented-wild-juniper-and-I'm-gunna-drink-it-even-though-it's-oddly-cloudly risky?

you may recognize the line in Sabrina Carpenter’s new song “why so sexy if so dumb” but I actually first coined this phrase in my own head when I put the yogurt in the pantry instead of the fridge.

The final boss of “death by a thousand cuts”
They named it the 'Big Beautiful Bill.' I assume ‘Tax Cuts for the Wealthy 3: Return of the Loophole’ was already taken.

Spent the AM foraging cherries & berries at prized locations, sharing convos & samples with passersby.

Feeling grateful & connected to the land on this complicated July 1st.

As a cyclist, you become accustomed to taking a different way there than you do home.

My alarms list is a good reminder of what a silly goose I am. The maps app full of pins on “blackcaps” “chaga” & “fiddleheads” is pretty funny too.

Being a chronic early riser has one advantage: a sunrise run around Collingwood Harbour during a regenerative health care executive retreat.

Thanks to CBC for highlighting our farm’s current season— doing everything we can to bring high quality, locally grown produce to the community regardless of the barriers they face. www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...

Festival season has begun. I plan to spend my weekends with the tickle of ants on my legs & the smell of sunscreen on my kids. Washing reusable water bottles & shaking out blankets so we can do it all again the next day.

Happy global running day. I'm new to running but, other than having to wash my hair more often, really enjoy it.

🌾🌍 Local Food Week is a call to nourish the entire food system: farmers, processors, eaters. Supporting local food means resilient economies, a protected environment, and a healthier future for all. Let’s support local food infrastructure to sustain future generations. #OntarioLocalFoodWeek

👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 People don’t recover while sleeping outside.
The MAIN driver of homelessness is poverty, evictions, high rent increases, and limited access to various housing and resources.

I'm glad to hear Mark Carney speak on the importance of housing, it's hard for anyone to recover from any health condition without having access to a secure home. 🇨🇦🍁
