As someone with severe PTSD....
...I'm responsible for /myself/. It's a kindness if someone gives me a heads up, but I'm the one responsible for learning how to lookout for subjects that are damaging to me. Whatever's broken in my brain isn't my fault, but it IS my responsibility alone.

TMW you're at a memorial party for a passed friend & you feel completely alienated from the closest people you thought loved you.... Especially when those people are still super close with the person that assaulted you.
