Childminder. Green. Socialist. Feminist. Pacifist. Slow runner. Football supporter.
Interested in child development, play and outdoor learning.
I love the running community especially those who attend, volunteer and support Tay Fitness events. Enjoyed another well organised Killin 10k and 5k. From complete strangers helping with pins and gels to local people turning out to support in the rain. Would recommend to any runners.

But it's not over yet!

Now we need as many people as possible to write to the Scottish Government and tell them to change this decision.

For as long as I can remember I've argued against being defined by my biology.
Stand by for 'a family can't include 2 mums or 2 dads'. What about adoptive parents? Are they still going to be allowed to call themselves 'mum' or 'dad' even although not biologically so?

For Women Scotland have done nothing for me today. So who are they 'for'? I have no issue sharing my space with trans women. The court can say what it wants as far as I'm concerned trans women are women and trans men are men. I see you. We must stick together.

📊Over two-thirds of Scots back our calls to tax the rich, which would raise far more money than any ‘savings’ made through Labour's brutal benefit cuts.

20mph roads in Wales meant:

🟢 100 fewer dead or seriously injured
🟢 26% fewer injured
🟢 The lowest 3 month casualty figure since records began 46 years ago

That's in just the first year. Real lives saved, real families spared a lifetime of pain and hardship.

Wales’s 20mph speed limit has cut road deaths. Why is there still even a debate?
Research suggests the scheme may be more popular than thought, with consultations dominated by a loud minority

From today, passengers on Manchester's #BeeNetwork have integrated 'tap and go' tickets across the whole bus & tram network 🚍🚊👏

Single bus fares are just £2 🪙

This is only possible now bus franchising is complete!

I've just done this too. Easy peasy.
I just did this. It’s quick and easy. Small acts of resistance matter too and it will cheer you up.
