Blaming voters isn't one of them? Voters are adults and I hold adults responsible for their actions. We are hear because people either made the choice not to vote or they voted for the party that was telling us they'd set shit on fire.

I find cooking to be incredibly therapeutic. There is something so magical about taking raw ingredients and making something out of them. Watching a neak come together fills me with such joy.

I've been alone for such a long time that I've kind of accepted that this is how it will always be. There is nobody out there waiting for me. They're not looking for me. Love and companionship will never happen for me, so why keep hoping?

This is good not JUST because it's got a lot of truth to it and we all know it, but because it's a useful way to instill a little bit of shame in people who buy into "Feckless Dems Care Only About Being Nice," etc. It's like "why do you think that's the image of them in your mind? Examine that."
The Democrats being perceived as weak is mostly just sexism. When you look at the actual evidence in terms of votes in Congress, strategy, political maneuvering, campaigning etc. it tells a different story. Dems are perceived as "weak" because of who their base is. We gotta unpack that.

I have come to the conclusion that a lot of people are basically using social medja as therapists and it's causing a negative feedback loop of miserable, nihilistic people just reinforcing their own sicknesses and that of others.

Mean Girls came out the year I graduated high school and honestly, it's a movie I was never able to enjoy because too much of it felt painful and familiar to me. My mean girls wetebt in high school, they were in Element school and being othered and rejected left me forever scarred.
