ICE raids are leaving some L.A. cats and dogs homeless
Chuco, a pit bull, was dropped at a shelter after his owner was deported last month. Many other dogs and cats in L.A. are facing similar circumstances as their caretakers vanish or flee.

Please STOP releasing balloons.They don’t go to heaven they fall back to the ground,where animals get entangled in the string & choke. Birds,turtles& wildlife often mistake balloon fragments for food, leading to injury/death.There has to be a better way to honor someone without harming living things

For anyone confused, FEMA is overseen by DHS, and their function is 90% planning and preparedness, not just showing up to hand you a check. Natural disasters happen. When leaders don’t plan, fund, or take preparedness seriously, the consequences are far worse. That’s the point.
