Variations of "That can't be true or I would have heard about it already" are a common and frustrating way that people dismiss uncomfortable truths they aren't aware of yet.
One said Ruth Bader Ginsburg would rule in our favor. The other didn't know Roe v. Wade had been overturned and said the court couldn't have ruled the way it did in 303 Creative because it would have been all over the news.

You can't begin to fix a problem until you admit it exists. If the Democrats keep acting as though they have never made any mistakes, they will never fix the mistakes that cost them support.
Lots of people need a theory of politics beyond “republicans bad, and democrats are unequivocally good.” It would actually help the Democrats win more elections. Both parties have high agency in what brought us to this moment of fascism.

Balancing "no person with a disability should be denied accommodations" with "it's important to discourage non-disabled people from pretending to be disabled to take advantage of these accommodations" is really difficult and I don't have a great answer for what anyone should do about it.

The professor did nothing wrong. The kid’s paper was trash, showing they were not even intellectually equipped to deal with university level thinking. The paper was written with the express purpose of harassing and getting the professor in trouble. TPUSA is a stochastic terror organization.
