I'm weeding this book from the library and there was something in between the pages- a tiny piece of pyrite. and suddenly, this is a whole story about the last person to check this book out.

In 2023, the board that runs the Greenville Cty Library System banned nearly all displays, following political turmoil over Pride Month and Juneteenth.
After the ban, library branches removed posters from their bathrooms publicizing a local helpline for domestic abuse survivors. (Post & Courier)
