Yesterday King Charles 3rd read the Throne Speech to open the session of the Canadian Parliament. This was touted as an opportunity to affirm Canada's sovereignty against Trump. Really?? Are we so insecure that we need an English monarch to tell an American president that we are proud Canadians?
