Plus maintenance
Why are so many people being pushed into homelessness?

☑️ Nearly half of all U.S. workers now earn less than the hourly wage needed to afford a modest one-bedroom apartment.

☑️ In CA, workers must earn nearly $50 an hour to afford a modest two-bedroom apartment.

Changing up the vocab doesn’t change the meanings!!!
Abortion is healthcare, and decisions regarding abortion care belong with patients and doctors, not politicians.

Today in committee my Republican colleagues put forward a bill (SB 553) that they claim is not about restricting abortion, merely "redefining" it.

This article really relies on Richard Dawkin's statement. Reminds me of his totally unprovoked anti-muslim tweets back in 2018... So his stance here isn't really surprising

Nature, the famous scientific journal, was accused of pursuing "social justice agenda" over its original purpose in the sciences.

The norms are being challenged and some of us are uncomfortable abandoning the "default" that has traditionally worked in our favors.

LOL these memes are killing me
The U.S. has conducted 10 strikes on alleged drug-carrying boats, killing 43 people.

Remember: no judge or jury has found these boats were trafficking drugs. We're simply taking Trump's word for it.

He’s unilaterally acting as judge, jury, and executioner.

This is a danger to us all.
