One of the things I love about working freelance is your mind stays sharp because you're often bouncing back and forth between numerous topics. There's no time for boredom. Today's pieces covered business travel, wellness, distance learning and online medical care. #freelance #writing #journalism

Finally got to see #Wicked and it did not fail to deliver. It was visually beautiful and the casting was fantastic. The songs, the choreography- just amazing.

I can't say I'm surprised that #AppState terminated Coach Clark's contract. Hopefully, the next coach can return the program to its winning ways and contend for conference championships.

One thing I really love about the holiday season is taking a walk with my daughter around our neighborhood to look at the Christmas lights. We've been doing it for years. Such a special time.

I've been fencing for about 5 years. There are times I hoped the sport would help me write thrilling depictions of sword play, but in truth, points are scored so quickly that it's changed my viewpoint - duels are fast, even among equally skilled opponents.
