I'm happy and relieved to finally have these railings repaired after pressuring highways to replace them.

It's a busy part of Grindley Lane very close to Springcroft Primary School and safety was a big concern to me.

Disgraceful for #ReformUK led Staffs CC canceling 4/7 committee meetings this week and next.

They don't have a plan

They don't like scrutiny

They don't like democracy

Fantastic work from @LibDem4ER honorary president @sarahjolney1 in getting straight to work on addressing our broken voting system. 🗳 @makevotesmatter.bsky.social
MPs have BACKED Sarah Olney's Lib Dem bill on electoral reform. This is a historic day for fair votes.

Today, as we have done for a century, Liberal Democrats are leading the fight for fair votes and making sure that no one can be ignored in our democracy.
MPs will today vote on Sarah Olney's bill, which would introduce electoral reform and proportional representation to elections in England.

Following years of the Conservatives’ denigrating standards in public life, we urgently need to restore the public’s trust in politics.

Our first post here on BlueSky! We were out and about with Alec at the weekend because Staffordshire needs more Lib Dems like him!
Great to be out door knocking and talking to residents - really good response and picked up loads of casework.
I will start to work on resolving the issues people are concerned with & look forward to seeing more residents very soon on the door step.

It was a really honour to attend St Nicholas Church Fulford for today's #remembranceday service, where I laid a wreath and gave a reading during the church service. #lestweforget

Pleased to be there to see work begin on Windmill Hill road improvements today! I've been campaigning to fix this 'out of repair' junction for over 2 years & delighted to get it done for residents! The only was issuing the County Council with a #Section56 notice after repeated broken promises

I'm glad that I've had this huge pothole repaired on Greenacres Avenue. #gettingthingsdone #workingforyou

After years of residents in Meir Heath and Rough Close being let down, I issued a Section 56 notice to make sure the work is carried out to repair the roads on Windmill Hill.

It was great to have this wall repaired after a delivery van damaged it a few weeks ago! I will always work hard to improve the area. #community #gettingthingsdone #workingforyou

For years, Blythe Bridge has had one of its "Welcome to Blythe Bridge" signs missing. I promised to make sure I would get a replacement- which was installed earlier today! #workingforyou #community #GettingThingsDone

It was great to be out with Stafford Borough Council Streetscene team this morning in #saverleygreen installing a picnic table that residents have wanted for a while now. Perfect timing as the annual village picnic is on Monday!

It's only taken years of press coverage, formal letter of complaint to SCC Chief Executive, legal threat via section 56 but finally, much needed roads repairs are now being done!
When I got elected, I promised promised residents that I would get it sorted. #workingforyou #potholes

Really productive day protecting and maintaining the heathland on Rough Close common with Staffordshire Wildlife Trust, Stafford Borough Council biodiversity officer and volunteers. Heathland is incredibly rare now across England. If you can help get in touch. #workingforyou #community #nature

On #NationalPotholeDay, I spoke with BBC Radio Stoke about the awful #potholes in the area and how residents feel let down by the lack of action. It's simply not good enough.
