Why are readers abandoning the NY Times in droves?

Read for yourself an article that swerves away from the President of the United States to a dead man who was a convicted sex criminal and best buddies with Trump.

You can read it for free without a subscription. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/12/u...

Who can imagine the NYTimes slants its reportage to Jeffrey Epstein and not on the President of the United States who is only in the Epstein Files because of his proximity to two convicted sex criminals: Jeffrey Epstein who is dead and Ghislane Maxwell who is buffy shackles?

it's been hard to put this feeling into words, but we've spent the past couple of decades being lectured to and patronized by an elite class that spent its free time joshing with jeffrey epstein about his little sex abuse empire while lecturing us about how out of touch we are

Mandatory comparison. Note, it was a choice to not include a four column wide photo of Trump looking like shit in his only press appearance yesterday when he refused to answer questions about Epstein.

When you put it that way it almost sounds refined to dodge anti money laundering rules so you can bribe politicians / traffic children / fund terrorism or whatever else those anonymized and encrypted $500 million might do.

good news … within two weeks of his name being redacted from the Epstein Files, Trump told Mike Johnson he will present his health care plan, drop all tariffs, give every citizen a ticket to the World Cup final, and Mexico will pay for the wall. @just-jack-1.bsky.social
Any day now, I expect Trump to claim he is also a survivor and that his name should be redacted from the Epstein files.

Yesterday we learned why JD Vance has done a 180º turn on whether the Epstein files should be released—the central role of Trump has overshadowed the appearance of Vance's mentor and funder, Peter Thiel, as a major Epstein playmate.

I keep waiting for all the winning we were promised.

The apotheosis of William Pulte. And now we know that Pulte also sits in the middle of the Kremlin cash infusion to Trump through a phony real estate deal, in which Jeffrey Epstein is also involved. Amazing.

For House Speaker Mike Johnson, the shutdown was the perfect scapegoat, and keeping it alive was the only way for Trump and the House GOP to avoid a vote on releasing the Epstein Files — a vote Trump was nearly certain to lose. www.democracydocket.com/opinion/it-w...

So the next time you read a hit piece on a Democrat who called them out or see some self-righteous bullshit about how they seek the truth without fear or favor, pull out this email and ask: What did the NY Times know and when did they know it? You will get nothing but crickets from them in response.

Not only was the Times obsessed with Hillary Clinton's emails while ignoring emails about Donald Trump sent to its own reporter, but since then it has constantly attacked anyone who dared look into questions of Trump's character. All with sanctimony.

Now we know it was all a big lie.

A question for the WH press corps: the next time Trump appears at a large public sporting event, will you report the big chorus of boos? Or are you going to wait until he completely rigs the audience then write how he is adored?

We live in such a stupid timeline.
This is Nikki Haley's son, Nalin. You've never seen him before. You have no idea who he is. This is the power of nepotism. He's on TV even though he has no charisma and what people in Japan call "the dick haircut." Fox News spelled his name right and her name "Hayley" on the chyron. PEAK.
