I still haven't gotten an explanation about my heart issues, after collapsing at work, 1 pacemaker, 1 pacemaker replacement where I was awake and in pain for the entire surgery, 1 wound dehiscence, 9 days in the hospital, 1 pacemaker explantation, and 2 weeks of heart monitoring.

I can tell already I'll be watching Cranium with my eyes half-covered. Now whether that's due to the coughnospoilerscough or freen's habit of always using her tongue while kissing Becky remains to be seen.

I remember watching the towers fall and Aaron Brown's simple "Good Lord, there are no words" on CNN. I remember finding that the most eloquent thing for a newscaster to say, that despite all the words we have, in that moment, none of them would've been enough.

Once upon a time, hundreds of years ago, I adored the musical Wicked. And then I met a girl who adored Wicked, and I, in turn, adored her. And then, "as they so often do," the girl I adored broke my heart. The thing with trauma is that, as she took her love away from me, she also took Wicked.
