Layoffs under Trump skyrocketed in October to their worst monthly level for 22 years, with Americans now facing the type of job cuts typically seen during recessions.

VA residents: Tell your Legislators: I want a clean energy future. Unfortunately, citing energy demand from data centers, Dominion, along with data center and gas industries, are pressuring them to abandon the VCEA. Can you join me and write a letter? Click here: actionnetwork.org/letters/tell...
Tell your Democratic Virginia Legislators: I want a clean energy future
With the exciting Virginia election results opening opportunities for clean energy, we’re asking our legislators to hold firm on the targets set in our clean energy law, the Virginia Clean Economy Act...

WATCH — @repstevenhorsford.bsky.social : “My amendment would redirect that $40 BILLION from Argentina to fund the ACA subsidies for two years… a far better use of taxpayer dollars.”

Why do we have money for Argentina while our own people lose their health care? How does this make us great?

This a big deal: "China’s carbon dioxide emissions have been flat or falling for 18 months"

China's economy has grown by ~5% in the last year, so this comprehensively debunks the idea (again) that emissions are tied to growth. So yes, faster progress needed, but this is how you turn the corner.

"...the sales tax exemption for data centers accounted for $2.73 billion of the tax savings..."

A multi-trillion-dollar industry doesn't need our tax dollars to incentivize it to do $#!+. That's money we need to fix roads and feed kids, not subsidize corporate greed.

Just another indication of a Super insecure man who must surround himself with Gold so he feels better. But I don’t think it’s working no matter how much he adds.
Look at what this garish, classless, tasteless fool has done to the People’s House.

Smacks of pump and dump so someone - probably the regular old taxpayers - are going to get caught again in our perpetual loop of socializing the loses and privatizing the profits.
For years, the tech industry’s giants, which make tens of billions of dollars in annual profits, usually built new data centers with their own money... But a new set of free spenders is emerging... and they are borrowing tens of billions of dollars to do it."

At the women’s summit I urged McClellan to primary Warner but she insisted she was needed in the House. Ok, fine then let’s have Jennifer Carroll Foy primary Warner! Someone has got to do it. He is stuck in the last century.
Exactly ppl are ignoring Kaine fell on his sword to save Warner, who has been shutdown-skeptical since March but knows voting as suck would end his career!!

Jennifer Carroll Foy should primary him
1. Kaine and Warner operate as a single governing unit due to their relationship;

2. Kaine has hinted he won't run in 2030. Expect a hand-picked replacement (like Rep. McClellan) from the Kaine patronage lineage.

3. Primary Mark Warner. The case against him is book length.

I suggest you join us on the cruise last year and will do so again this year since I’m on it now.
Hah, I just missed the latest one, which is happening now. All those decisions are far above my pay grade. . . .

Passaic County was also the only county in NJ where Trump DOJ sent election monitors 🫢
Between 2020 and 2024, no New Jersey county moved further right than Passaic County (11pts). At 43% it's also the most the most-Latino county in the state, and is among the least-white overall.

Last night, it moved 18pts to the left, surpassed only by Hudson County (the second-most Latino county)

Let’s pray that our new AG has learned a lesson and responds accordingly. It is time to be humble and recognize that his win was largely due to the rest of the ticket so now is the time to put your head down and get to work earning the trust of the voters back who held their nose and voted for him.
Virginia’s attorney general is also pivotal to enforcing the state’s Voting Rights Act, which is more expansive than the federal version
Here’s 3 reasons why last night’s big win in the AG race matters:

1) Instead of rolling over for the MAGA agenda, VA will now fight back in court.

2) AG appoints state universities’ general counsel (see UVA)

3) More likely to redistrict next year by withdrawing AG opinion and lawsuit opposing it
