Seems to be a technical hitch on the BlueSky feed… 🤷🏻‍♂️

Enjoyed that screechy guitar on the Tulpa track, though.

Only caught up with the news of Todd Snider’s untimely death today via @willothewhisk.bsky.social

Snider’s story song of The Kingsmen recording Louie Louie is a fitting tribute to his art.

English Teacher warming up a cold Glasgow at Barrowlands last night. The songs from the LP really came alive on stage where Lily Fontaine was a powerful presence. Terrific stuff.

Released 40 years ago today, how it all came about could fill a book. Soon forgotten at the time by all but a few. Always grateful for the love still out there though, what a difference (a mere) four decades makes 😄

This brilliant show seems to have flown under the critical radar as I’ve been unable to dig up any reviews of it anywhere! I know there is a lot going on but this was Hamish Hawk and Ivor Cutler, ferchrissakes!!
Afternoon everyone, HH here. I'm just dropping in to pass on my heartfelt thanks to everyone who came down to see Life in a Scotch Sitting Room, Vol. 0 at the Edinburgh International Book Festival this past weekend.

R.I.P Mick Ralphs. Met him at the launch of the Mott anthology at Virgin Oxford Street. Hunter, Verden Allen and Mick were supposed to play a short set but unfortunately Mick went to the wrong Virgin so there was no time for them to play.

First ever gig at the wonderful Royal Albert Hall last night. And it had to be the inestimable Wilco. What a venue and what a set. Sound was incredible even up in the Rausing Circle where I was sat. Brilliant night.
