It really bothers me when people complain about book heroines being too soft/tearful/girly/submissive, esp. with the criticism that it’s necessarily unrealistic or misogynist.
Women like that exist and we shouldn’t be treated like an embarrassment to other women.

FYI- little clinic in king soopers did not disclose to me that the flu test they gave me would cost $70!!! Even though they sell the tests out front for like 15. Seriously that's almost double the copay for the actual appointment. They didn't tell me it would cost extra once. Never going back.
