Brian lays out a great example of the timeline of a wealthy nepo baby public servant transforming into an even wealthier control freak wannabe god-king. Unfortunately, @brianmannadk.bsky.social misses that point and seems to think the end justifies the means. Super disappointing.

Very appreciative of the thorough work done by the office of the New York State inspector general in getting to the bottom of this farce. ED Barb Rice and the rest of the executive staff deserve so much better. Will be patiently waiting for an apology from @adirondackexplorer.bsky.social
The NYS Inspector General has issued a report closing an investigation with a finding that claims made against APA Executive Director Barbara Rice were unsubstantiated.

Happy 133rd birthday to the Adirondack Park! On this day in 1892, New York State established the Park’s famous "Blue Line" boundary. Since then, the Park has grown to encompass roughly 6 million acres of public and private lands, which we work to protect as an agency.
