They believe he is a good kicker. The circumstances have been bad and that's led them to bring in Mevis. How the next few weeks play out will determine his fate, as the Rams can only activate Mevis from psquad so many times before he has to be signed to active roster.
Are they keeping him off the practice squad to protect him from getting poached?

Over the last five years, I hope you haven't become numb to what Matthew Stafford is able to do any given Sunday. Because his Rams teammates certainly haven't as they start to beat the MVP drum for their quarterback
