So, I just got home from seeing #Wicked. The movie was so truly spectacular, and also, Elphaba and her hardships, as well as hardships experienced by others in the film really hit me hard and made me so emotional throughout the film. I really needed this right now. Life hasn’t been easy lately. 🩷

The amount of grace that we are expected to show under constant fucking attack is so heartbreaking and bitter and infuriating and it makes me want to scream.

I am finding it quite unbearable to watch Sarah McBride bear the grotesque attack of her colleagues with so much grace. I know it is what we have been taught to expect of trailblazers, but I am increasingly struggling to accept this.
