I think it'd be a good idea for me to introduce dodging upgrades that you can unlock through sidequests. Something to give you an edge over the enemies while they're attacking.

Is it fair that, when I release Deoxynn, I can retroactively change the story in minor ways? I won't be able to get everything perfect first try.

There is a road I drive down sometimes, and I always take a look to see something. Sometimes, there's a Waffle House there. But most of the time, it's completely gone, building and all. This would be a funny thing to reference in Deoxynn.

Art is iteration. Everything comes from somewhere, whether it's in the real world or some other piece of media. Everyone gets their inspiration from something else. Nothing we think of has never been thought of before, and that's okay. What matters is what you can do with it.

The more I think about it, the more interesting Deoxynn can turn out. I recently had a few ideas on how I can "connect" the Acts. This is going to be fun.

Deoxynn is going to have pretty minimal voice acting. That isn't to say it won't have any at all; rather, Alexa is going to do stuff like reacting to taking damage, rather than reading out full lines.

Deoxynn is going to be no stranger to having difficult side-content. I have a lot of difficult bosses in mind, meaning I'll have to put a bunch of them in the "Extras" option because I don't want to fill up the main story with too much side content.

Eventually, I'm going to need design guides. Boss design is difficult, even with how different the bosses in the Godot version will be than their Kristal counterparts.

Right now, I'm currently thinking of adding a bonus if you successfully dodge the turn without getting hurt. What do you guys think of Alexa not getting as much LIM and getting some MP if you no-hit an attack?

I don't know who needs to hear this, but nobody is ever going to make anything perfect. And that's fine. Because perfection is subjective. What one person thinks is garbage, another will think is life-changing. You really just have to do what makes you happy.
