Color contrast affects readability on the web and in print. It is especially important for users who are low vision or for users who are colorblind. Good color contrast means all users can see your content no matter the device they’re using or the lighting of their surroundings.

Stop disabling copy and paste in password fields.

Sincerely,

I was just reading some stuff elsewhere and saw a disabled woman saying that she was not leaving another platform because it was “all she’s got” because this platform isn’t as accessible as she needs it to be. Wonder when the leadership here will address that they need a top accessibility person.

The sidebar of Vercel's documentation doesn't work with screen readers. 🤔

It's an <aside> HTML element coded as a <button> via role="button" (screenshot in next reply).

The links & buttons inside it can't be reached and the name of the "button" is SO long.

Video shows macOS VoiceOver + Safari.

hiowhealthcare.nhs.uk embedding important 'help in a crisis' web links, phone numbers and references to apps within an image on their help in a crisis page. Also including a QR code that points back to same page.

nottingham.ac.uk ironically promoting digital accessibility on social media with text embedded in an image, a QR code that can't be scanned when viewed on a smart phone and without providing a web address or any other contact information.🤦
