Saw Conclave today. It wasn’t what I expected, in a good way. Great movie, well executed. The soundtrack was perfect. I don’t think it’ll win anything at the Oscars, though. It’s not flashy enough, the voters never go for this kind of movie. Hopefully they’ll recognize the screenplay.

What the fuck is the White House doing? What was even the point of asking Zelenskyy to go there? Just to ambush him? Did they really think he would sing the deal without getting any guarantees? Are they stupid? Fuck this shit.

Anyway, once again the women’s matches have been superior to the men’s. The Swiatek/Keys SF was amazing, and I honestly think the Sabalenka/Keys is going to be more exciting than the Sinner/Zverev. #AusOpen

At some point the ITF/ATP are really going to have to address all the retirements in the later rounds of the Slams. Perhaps make a new type of Lucky Loser rule, so if an injured player wins the match but cannot play the next round, the loser plays instead. #AusOpen

Djokovic didn’t deserve the booing. He gave it his all. The real problem is that Alcaraz wasn’t able to beat a clearly injured Djokovic. He lost his concentration, the biggest weakness of his game, and wasn’t able to get it back until he was already broken in the 4th set. #AusOpen

You can tell Alcaraz is still sick by his speed. He couldn’t reach the ball as fast as usual. Impossible to beat Zverev that way.
