I want to be celebrating the progressive wins across the country, but unfortunately, I live in TX, where voters passed ballot measures:
- banning inheritance tax
- banning capital gains tax
- affirming “parental rights”
- giving tax breaks for hosting the border wall
- and more things I hate…

Now on day 8 of my absolutely miserable sore throat, and I’ve just remembered that when I went to the campus clinic on day 3, one of the things the NP asked was if it could be an oral STD, and like… I’m so ace I didn’t even consider that was a potential thing people have to worry about. 😭

Idk that this counts because Clay Higgins isn’t a real celebrity, only a local one from Crimestoppers ads who’s now in Congress, but before he was a Rep. he talked to my Christian Youth Theater’s youth group thing about not “doing weed,” etc. and everyone else got mad he said “shit” in a church.
