Lately horror movies have been not scaring me at all. Stuff I know would normally terrify me, I just feel... nothing.

My beautiful baby girl had an ear infection recently and lost her hearing. She doesn't seem to mind, and she's been quick to pick up my use of hand signals in substitute for words.

Years ago, a friend of mine rescued two puppies wandering in rural NC. Her parents kept the boy puppy, Kai, and she adopted the girl, Kali, to a new coworker who needed just the right dog at just the right time.
Over the years the puppies have been able to get together now and then to play.
