For our December concert set (likely my last ever orchestra concert set) we’re playing a Star Wars suite and I’m couldn’t be less excited for it. On the bright side, we’re also playing one of my favorite orchestra pieces, The Planets by Holst, so it’s not all bad.

The current LIGO observing run, O4c, will conclude on November 18, 2025. After this date, all detectors will remain offline at least until mid-2026. Plans beyond mid-2026 are still uncertain and will depend on budgetary scenarios and further developments.
