Final stretch. I am very hopeful that Mitch will be available for the Cavs game. Last meeting, Huk baptized both Mobley and Allen at the same time. Fingers crossed that Mitch gets to throw them around some #KnicksSky

With the NBA trade deadline nearing, and the Knicks in need of some marginal tweaks at the least, I got together with some co-workers to see what teams might make sense as trade partners, both big and small:

Knicks won the turnover battle, grabbed more offensive boards, and got to the FT line regularly. We were also 20 points worse in efg%, and that’s the story of the game. Defense and shot making. 50% from 3 vs 13%.

Knicks have a relatively easier December (barring any Cup games). So I’m ready to watch them try to build some confidence in the new roster and then watch animated basketball with my kids on Christmas day. Let’s get Precious back in action and see what they can be come January.

Think what we’re seeing tonight from Knicks is the theory in action. Brunson scoring and dishing on offense at an insane level. And defense hasn’t been lockdown but playing with tons of effort and really punishing off turnovers.

That was a fun win. Even if it’s the Wiz, nice that it’s just never in doubt after the first quarter. Brunson seeing lots of shots go in is nice since he had a tough time getting shots the last few games

I'm really not trying to hate on Jericho, just point out that in the sample, Huk is doing a lot more with his opportunity. If Knicks end up using Mitch in a trade, it should be Huk that inherits the backup center minutes.
