The formula we use to feed orphaned rhinos is tailored specifically to their nutritional needs – and different from what we give orphan elephants. We've successfully hand-raised 20 rhinos to date – this critically endangered youngster is Chamboi (filmed in 2024). Meet him: swt.bio/chamboi

Newborn rhinos are extremely vulnerable. They need to be shielded from even the slightest chill, hence Chamboi's woollen, cherry red blanket.
