My new favorite thing to do is patching the envelope follower from a mic into the decay stage of an envelope generator. You can tap on the mic to make the sequence more interesting. The Verbos Real World Interface is my contact mic / envelope follower in this case.

I almost completed my first DIY eurorack build, but when I was loading the firmware I plugged the power in backwards and the module started smoking. Time to troubleshoot…
